Cartographic Design Challenge Map: Artic Sea Ice Melt
After and Before editing the Arctic Sea Ice Map Design for Colorblindness Legibility:
Designed through an ESRI tutorial; this map demonstrates the way stylistic choices create common associations and show urgency based on how we see color. This map was deigned with colorblindness in mind and legibility. Each map has its own benefits and drawbacks and one design may be needed more than another in different contexts.
